Our dive into the Bay of Brest takes you into waters where incredible ecosystems thrive. This guided tour, led by a scientific mediator, will reveal the secrets of local underwater ecosystems, highlighting conservation efforts and the natural beauty of an exceptional maritime region.

Dive into the Iroise Sea
With our dive into the Iroise Sea, you will explore the extraordinary diversity of the seabed in this unique region and discover a multitude of species, ranging from grey seals to fascinating seaweed beds. Be amazed by the treasures of the Iroise Sea, renowned for its ecological richness and wild beauty.

Treasures of the foreshore
At high tide, the sea deposits a strand of seaweed mixed with unusual objects on the beaches: this is the foreshore. Cuttlefish bones, the remains of shells, the hard shells of sea urchins but also pieces of plastic. Where does this debris come from? What is the role of the foreshore? Discover with the scientific mediator many testimonials about biological activities and the significant exposure to pollution in this little-known yet essential area.

From the surface to the depths: all fish and all different!
Since the first inventory of fish carried out in 1551 by Pierre Belon, our knowledge of these aquatic creatures has evolved considerably. But how do we truly define a fish? This interactive presentation immerses you in the fascinating world of fish. Using an interactive screen and an underwater camera, our science mediator will guide you through the anatomy, biology and ecology of fish.

Crabs, prawns, sea urchins and whelks – observe them and try to find the relationships between these different species. Faced with this extraordinary marine biodiversity, our science mediator will help you better understand how we classify living things.
